Meet Holly Martinson, M.Ed., ACC

Holly is an experienced coach with a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach.

Holly has 20+ years of experience in the field of education and coaching. She believes each person has a unique learning style, and invests the time to build a relationship with her clients to create a safe environment that allows for alternative ways of approaching a situation or task. Holly cultivates a coaching and learning environment that reflects a strengths based and growth mindset approach.

Because Holly is passionate about wellbeing, she is also a trauma informed Registered Yoga Instructor (E-RYT-200) with several hours of mindfulness training. Her experience has included working as adjunct faculty teaching yoga through the Department of Health and Human Performance at Marymount University and serving on the faculty of a yoga teacher training program through a studio in Northern Virginia. 

 

Holly earned her M.Ed. in curriculum & instruction and her bachelor's in psychology. While working in the public school system, she participated in extensive coach and facilitation training. Holly earned her ACC coach credential through the International Coach Federation (ICF) of which she is a member. She is additionally co-leader of a coaching community of practice through the Mid-Atlantic Facilitator Network. Holly presents and teaches on topics related to Coaching, Neurodiversity, Stress Management, Mindfulness and Wellbeing. She is on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization The Heart Leaf Center, which provides mental health services for underserved children and families.

When Holly isn’t working, she enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, kayaking, or reading a good book under a tree.
